Once you have sent in a completed application form, we will contact you with the date of the entrance date and send out an invitation letter closer to the time. The test usually starts at 10am. You should aim to be at the school for 9.30am as this will allow any remaining paperwork to be completed.
The entrance test consists of two papers: one English paper and one Maths paper. The papers last one hour each. Tests for older girls may be longer. Pupils who are sitting the test for entry into Years 8 or 9 will also be required to sit an additional Science test.
Your daughter should bring her own equipment with her including a pen, pencil, rubber, ruler and sharpener. We do not provide sample tests.
Tests are usually held on a Saturday; however if this is a problem for any parent, tests can be scheduled to take place during school hours.
If your daughter is unwell on the test day or there are some other unforeseen circumstances which mean she will be unable to sit the test, please let us know as soon as possible and we will arrange another time for her to come in.
