Careers Education is an important part of the School Curriculum. It allows pupils to focus on what their ultimate aims are and what they hope their education will allow them to achieve – this in turn helps to motivate them.
Careers Education is one of six planned units in our PSHE curriculum, and during each year, pupils explore this subject. We also ensure that external opportunities are presented to pupils so that they can make the most of what is on offer. Additionally, inviting guests from a range of professions and job sectors helps to broaden pupils’ awareness of what sorts of jobs are possible and gives them the opportunity to ask questions.
