August 2019 – GCSE Results (updated Feb2020)

MashaAllah to all of our Year 11 pupils in Summer 2019, as Al-Burhan celebrated another year of, alhamdulillah, outstanding GCSE results.

The GCSE pass rate (grade 9 – 4) and higher pass rate (grade 9 – 5) are both 100% which means all students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grades 9 – 5 including English and Maths, while 75% of all grades are at 7-9 (A*/A).

Our top Year 11 pupil achieved six Grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Literature, Mathematics, and History, three Grade 8s in English Language, Religious Studies, and Computer Science, A* in Arabic and a grade 7 in Art & Design.

We are delighted with the results and exceptionally proud of all the girls, who had worked so hard, and congratulate them. A special thanks to the teachers who year after year, put in much effort and sincere care and dedication, and to parents for their supportive partnership.

The figures below show that, compared to local and national results, pupils at Al-Burhan achieve outstanding results which are well above the national average.
