We believe that learning and education is a partnership between home, student and school and that the School community includes parents as well as the pupils. The School supports the home environment created by the parents in order to instil the core values. We always hope for a strong supportive relationship with parents.
Pupils are formally assessed three times a year and short progress reports are given after each set of assessment. Once a year, parents are sent a more detailed full report with written comments. Each class also has a parent’s evening once a year, and depending on the year of your daughter, their may be additional opportunities to come in, for example the Year 7 parent’s informal drop-in evening. Personal appointments can easily be arranged and annual Parents’ Meetings are held for each year group. Individual difficulties or complaints should be discussed with Headteacher, or appropriate Form teacher.
